Care by life stage
Chiropractic care for toddlers and preschoolers
Short visits for children who move all day, with a toy corner and time to get used to the room.
Climbing, falling and being carried come with the age. The doctor watches your child walk, crouch and play before touching anything, and you stay in the room.

What a visit includes
From hello to a plan
- 01
Step 1: Time to settle
The first minutes are play, not exam. Your child sees the room and the toys, and the doctor says hello from a low chair.
- 02
Step 2: Watching your child move
Walking, squatting and reaching, in the way your child does them every day.
- 03
Step 3: A light hands-on check
If your child is willing, the doctor checks posture and joints with light contact and tells you what is happening.
- 04
Step 4: A small next step
The doctor explains what was found and suggests what to do at home, in words you can use with your child.
Good to know
Before you book
How long, and how often
Visits run 20 to 30 minutes. Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and reviews it with you each time.
What we do not claim
That care changes how a child sleeps, eats or grows
That chiropractic care replaces checkups with your pediatrician
A number of visits or a result, because results vary
When to see a physician first
Call your pediatrician or 911 first for a fever, a limp after a fall, a child who will not use an arm, or trouble breathing.
How it is paid
Your plan decides what it pays, and coverage for children's visits differs from plan to plan. Our front desk checks your benefits before the first visit and calls you. If you pay yourself, we give you a written estimate in advance.

Questions
Questions about this care
Can I stay in the room?
Yes. A parent or guardian stays for every child's visit.
What if my child will not cooperate?
We never force a visit. If your child is not ready, we stop and try again another day, or decide together that care is not what your child needs.
Can I bring a sibling?
Yes. There is a toy corner, and a second adult makes the visit easier for everyone.
