New patients
What to expect at your first visit
A talk, an exam suited to the age and an explanation. Care starts that day only if you agree.
Plan on 30 to 45 minutes for a child and 45 to 60 for an adult. You stay dressed, and a parent stays for every child's visit. You do not fill in a health history on this site: we ask what we need in person.
Bring a photo ID
And your insurance card, if you have one.
Bring a list of medicines
For the doctor to read at the visit.
Bring a toy or a book
For a child who likes something familiar.
Ask anything
Questions about risks, cost and options are part of the visit.

The visit in order
From the front desk to your plan
The same five steps for every new patient.
- 01
Step 1: At the front desk
You check in, and we confirm how you would like to pay. A parent signs for a child's care.
- 02
Step 2: A talk
The doctor listens first, to you and to your child.
- 03
Step 3: An exam made for the age
Watching movement and play for a young child. Posture and joints for an older child or an adult.
- 04
Step 4: What was found
The doctor says what the exam showed, what the options are, and the risks of each.
- 05
Step 5: Your decision
Care starts that day only if you agree. You can say no, or stop, at any time. If another provider should see you first, we say so.
